Puppy class was last night. All the dogs are improving. Sabrina's core skill is recall or the "here" command. She was very good last night, when we did the recall she came right away when I said "here," but the poor thing slipped on the floor and did a nose plant. But that didn't deter her, she leaped up and kept running.

Love your blog! I'm not sure how old you are, and I'm interested in hearing your personal perspective on this experience in addition to the "objective" stuff like how she's doing on her commands (though that's fun to read, too). Do you notice that people are more open to you when you have your pup with you? Are you ever anxious about how she'll behave? These are all interesting too, and the experience of a teen girl is going to be a bit different from the experience of older raisers. We're interested! I'm so glad you're raising a pup, this is a life changing experience. Can't wait to read more!
